Returns & Refunds Policy

At VazAuto, we strive to provide high-quality used car parts and ensure a seamless shopping experience. However, if you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a hassle-free returns policy. Please review the details below to understand how our returns and refunds process works.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

14-Day Returns Policy

You may cancel your order and return the item(s) within 14 working days from the day after you receive your order. To be eligible for a refund, the item(s) must be returned unused, intact, and in their original condition. All items are security marked, and returns will only be accepted if these markings are visible and the part has not been tampered with or dismantled.

Faulty or Incorrect Parts

In the unlikely event that a part is faulty or we’ve sent the wrong item, we will cover the return postage costs and issue a full refund or replacement once the item has been returned and inspected. If a replacement is unavailable, we will process a refund within 72 hours of receiving the returned item. Please note that the time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your bank or card issuer.

Return Postage Costs

  • If the return is due to a fault or error on our part, we will cover the return postage costs (provided they are reasonable). Please contact us before returning the item, as we may arrange a cost-effective collection.
  • For non-faulty returns, the cost of return postage is the customer’s responsibility. We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service, as we cannot refund items lost in transit.

Refund Process

Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used for the purchase. If this is not possible (e.g., the card has expired), please contact us to discuss alternative arrangements. Refunds are processed within 72 hours of receiving the returned item(s).

Warranty & Guarantees

  • Our warranty covers the part only. We do not reimburse any labour costs, fitting charges, or removal costs under any circumstances.
  • Parts that have been modified, altered, or incorrectly fitted are not covered by our guarantee. Returns of such items will be considered at our discretion.
  • We strongly recommend that all parts are fitted by qualified automotive technicians. We cannot accept liability for malfunction, damage, or injury caused by improper fitting.

Specific Part Guidelines

To ensure your satisfaction and avoid issues, please adhere to the following guidelines for specific parts:

Engines
  • The warranty covers the cylinder head, block, and internal components (e.g., pistons, camshaft). External ancillaries (e.g., water pump, sensors, timing belt) are provided free of charge but are not tested or covered by warranty.
  • Engines must be fitted with new service parts (e.g., timing belt, oil filter, spark plugs) by a qualified mechanic. Failure to do so will invalidate the warranty.
Gearboxes
  • Gearboxes must be filled with the correct grade of new oil upon installation. Failure to do so will invalidate the warranty.
Braking System Parts
  • Brake components must be fitted by a qualified garage or brake specialist. All seals and brake fluid must be replaced during installation.
ECUs & Electrical Items
  • Please ensure all part numbers are correctly matched before purchasing. ECUs and electrical items are non-refundable if damaged due to incorrect fitting, attempted recoding, or other faults present on the customer’s vehicle.
